ARS is a multi-faceted association management and membership service company based in Arlington, VA just outside our Nation’s Capital. Our founder and CEO, retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel John Powell, is the former National Membership Director of American Veterans (AMVETS) a non-partisan, volunteer-led organization formed by World War II veterans of the United States military.

Powell served as the Hershey Chocolate Company’s point man for charitable giving, and also runs Military Historical Tours, a worldwide tour company focusing on military history and bringing vets, their families and historians back to the battlefields.
